EpiSci Selected as Prime for US Navy Contract
Poway, CA – EpiSci is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a prime contract by the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) to develop autonomous algorithms that will covertly find, fix, and track maritime targets as part of the United States Navy’s Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP). Utilizing flexible, open architecture autonomy platforms from AeroVironment and Ocean Power Technologies, EpiSci’s Tactical AI agents will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Navy’s capabilities to rapidly deploy autonomy software modules capable of seamlessly coordinating and cooperating a swarm of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs).
